  • If you must get married during the peak season, choose an off day of the week. If you select a Wednesday, you might get a deal on everything from the venue to the band.


  • Select an off time of day; a brunch is a lot less expensive to host than an evening event. You will save on both food and beverage costs.


  • The best cost-saving advice is to select a venue that includes tables, chairs, linens, flatware, glassware, etc. People often think having an event at home is less expensive, but that is not true. Rentals add up quickly.


  • Lastly, keep your wedding small. Everything is based on your count; fewer people equals less cost. A small family wedding with a few close friends is a great way to keep your costs down.
