Holy $#!+ The Holly Day

Are you in full panic mode? Christmas is in four days, and you have not started your shopping, decorating, and cooking. Do not worry. You are not alone. This year I am with you, I have done some shopping and decorating, but I have not started cooking yet. I have 20 guests for Christmas Eve and 7-10 for Christmas night. Today is list day! I have ordered cupcakes from Georgetowncupcake.com, my favorite cupcakes!!! I have delegated side dishes; now I have to order a side of Salmon, a tenderloin roast, and Maine crab meat. I also need to check my alcohol, wine, and beer.

As far as decor this year, I am going to forage for my tablescape and add my go-to candlesticks, moss, wood slices, and votives! Nature is my muse.

This time of year calls for the bone china from my wedding! It is perfect for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

This was a foraging project I did years ago. Liz Donnelly took the photo, which has been reposted on Houzz many times. It is funny what resonates with people. I still adore this look, and it is simple and beautiful!
